SvenskaUnconsciously, I notice trivia when I travel. For example, it was popular among men to have their dog in a backpack while cycling. A man had a Tour de France bike and his dog on his back. They advanced together along the road with great speed.
The dinner I had at a restaurant an evening was also interesting. The waiter took care of me immediately when I explained in my shaky French that I love to cook. He sat me in the middle of the restaurant. A basket was placed under the table where my mobile etc. would be placed. However, I couldn’t resist taking out my camera for a photography of the dishes.
A French couple sitting at the table next to me seemed to have been married for many years, and the spark was still there. They were gesticulating and talking animatedly. Sometimes with a smoking break on the terrace. At least I understood that they knew each other very well. I was well looked after by the waiter and the dinner was perfect with a French atmosphere.
Among the men, French fashion seemed to be to wear the trousers slightly loose. It wasn’t a coincidence, it was a trend. The man at the next table did not have a belt on his trousers, so they were slightly loose. French men I thought, and even got a little mad at myself because I couldn´t stop myself from looking.
A few days at the beach gave me new energy. Especially since there were so many sporty and active people jogging, walking or cycling along the sea. A wonderful summer. The photo above is from an early morning walk along the sea.
