Late November early morning

Hi there, would like to write in Swedish but sometimes it is easier to communicate in English. Little tired from yesterdays workout. It is good. I make progress. However, I just have to face and accept the truth that I cannot live without chocolate. My reward.

Listening to news from the U.S., Ferguson. Tea time. Cosy. Swedish “lussekatter”. Tasty and healthy.

I am going to meet my mentor Professor Jörgen Engel for lunch in a few days. He is going to Stockholm for meetings in drug dependence. Addiction. This made me think of my last year at the Department of pharmacology in Gothenburg. I made friends with Professor Trilok Pati Thapa. Professor Trilok Pati Thapa is from Nepal, Kathmandu.  In research, it is very common to have exchange between universities with regard to research and education.

I have always been fascinated by mountains. I also like to follow Volvo Ocean Race. However, I have to be careful, not to stay over  3000 meters since I am sensitive to high altitude. Maybe, it is just a question of adaptation. However, I travel in mountains by watching pictures. So beautiful. I remember  Pau. Beautiful Pyrenees. Des randonnées. I hope I will be able to see some of beautiful Nepal. And perhaps also wonderful K2.

Have a nice day!

…and lots of love from anna
