I am so lazy writing. Yesterday was Sweden´s official day. I stayed in the countryside where I am grown up. It is a little sad, I think, that a lot is disappearing in the countryside. The grocery store, the school and soon the bus is gone. However, hembygdsgården is still there. So, yesterday, we had cookies and coffee at hembygdsgården. So sweet!

Today has been a beautiful day but now a thunder storm is on its way. I am ok after Marathon. Been walking a lot. I think I am addicted to training. And it is true, there is something called runner´s addicts.

Yesterday was exciting. I do not have any pictures to show because I could not bring my cellular phone. However, I saw there are many inspiring pictures on the Marathon website. It was a wonderful day. Overwhelming sun, rather good temperature. My feet were fine, surprisingly. I could run most of the time, even though slowly. Since it was so sunny, I had to think of water because it can get dangerous with little water due to transpiration.

Of course, I was very tired when I got home. Very sleepy. Today I went for a walk with sweetie. Tippa is a little tired of walking so she prefers to stay at home. She is not that found of having her photo and her favorite hobby is to stay in the sun. Watch people passing by on the road. And in particular other dogs.

Tonight I joined my parents for a choir concert. Summer songs. Sharing a picture from today filled with lots of contrasts.

Today is a week til start of Marathon. It has been a challenge to actually be able to have time for exercise. Because it takes time. A lot of time to run. And my feet have been wounded and it takes time to heel. Ok. That is reality. Important to face true facts. It hurts a bit to know that I might not be able to fulfill the whole Marathon, but it is better to go to start and make a try than to cancel. I will not give up. It is, right now, for me, a sort of mental training. To run not slow and not fast.

It also depends a lot of what kind of day it is. From weather forecast SMHI, it seems like it is going to be sunny. So, today I will start to go for a walk, and then feel how my body feels like today. What shape I am into.

Tomorrow is mother´s day. She will have a strawberry cake. My mother suffers from a memory disease called Alzheimers disease. It affects my family a lot, but I am very happy that she can live at home. Memory diseases are maybe difficult to understand from people not knowing much about the disease. Short term memory is heavily affected whereas long term memory is still there. So, I think weather will be fine tomorrow and she will enjoy a fresh, homemade, strawberry cake.

I have been lazy, I admit. I am facing a challenge. My feet hurt so I have returned to my old running shoes where I don´t get wounded. Next Friday I have to prepare for long distance running. My goal is to end up as a finisher at the Stadium in Stockholm Marathon. However, my feet are not 100% ok. But I remember last time, I was so happy and there were so many people from all over the world. My greatest memory was freedom. The sky was blue. I had a challenge ahead. My legs hurt at the end. It was better to run that walk. Yes, it is true.

So, I will treat myself with some good music. Happy music!

PS. I am thinking of how to improve the website. Instagram and a new symbol.

There is a lot about so called “free word” in Sweden now. How politicians stop people of writing. Like in China. I used to be involved in politics but now I am politically independent. I am not a member of any political organization.

I have my values and they are probably inspired by both right and left values. If Borg had been elected as head of the right wing party, I would have stayed. But now politics is just a mess in Sweden. I would like to see something similar in Sweden as in the US. Two political parties where there is a democratic selection of leader. That is the most democratic way of living in a free country.

In a true democracy it should be possible to chose a new prime minister if he or she has done something very stupid. Like the Watergate scandal in the US. And as recently seen on Iceland.

Last weekend I went to Skansen with sweet auntie. We went to see the beer and her cubs. We also went to the Lappish area where Lappish culture is presented. She had this picture of me.
