English Breakfast

Breakfast is maybe the most important meal of the day. That will keep you going during the whole day. Often, I am not that hungry in the mornings so I just have a cup of coffee and a little something to go with my coffee. But I know that is not good. However, during weekends I have no excuse of being lazy. So today I made myself an English breakfast. I just had scrambled eggs with fresh paprika and onions. A toast with Swedish “prästost”. However, no bacon or beans this morning. I will soon have a cup of the and also read the newspaper.

A part of my book takes place in London, so I try to remember beautiful London. I was more than 30 years old before I went to London, but I have been there several times since then. I like London a lot. I have never seen a musical in London so that is something I need to do. I don´t know why, but I used to know a lot about musicals. I think I had a teacher in music who liked musicals at school. The whole school went to Stockholm and we saw “West side story”. I liked the song “Puerto Rico, you lovely island, island of tropical…”. Think I saw, after that, “The phantom of the opera” with one of my best friends at that time. So, only musicals in Stockholm. Next time London musical.

It is soon time for “Hässelbyloppet”. I am excited. I am following the SMHI weather forecast. Today they say no rain and I really hope that there will be no rain. I love sun and blue sky.

Wishing you a relaxing weekend!

Anna
