Food & drug administration (FDA)

Photography has become one of my hobbies in life. I like to catch glimpses of life, and that is difficult. I still have a lot to write about my journey before I can continue with next step in life. Below are some photos reflecting life in Sapa surroundings.

I got the impression that woman is very much in focus in Vietnam. Women in family. Women in history. Women´s fashion. Women in the daily family life, meal preparation, agricultural practices of various ethnic groups. Vietnam women are often involved in small business such as sewing, weaving and pottery. It is a way of expressing themselves throughout the ages; beautiful rituals and femininity across the communities. Vietnamese women have also played a significant role as soldiers where they defended their country and fellow citizens.

I learnt that food industry is putting chemicals in the food to make people eat more. So, fresh food is growing even more important. Thereby the headline, FDA. Vietnam has their own FDA, and often in the news there were reports about various levels of chemicals. I was in Sapa for such a short time. I would definitely like to return since I like trekking so much.
