Russian 🇷🇺 politics and relations in general

The Russian politician Aleksej Navalnyjs had a cup of tea at an airport, and later he fell ill during a flight. He was tortured and that was recorded during the flight by a passenger. Currently his life is under German protection. There is a lot in the news about him so I had to write some. This is where fiction meets reality. Medicine meets politics. Is it true or not? Is he hallucinating? Is he really crying? No, he is simulating. It will be interesting to follow. Better than Bond. Medical doctors are not neutral. They belong to left or right wing, or most commonly somewhere in the middle. Medical decisions become political. No hypocritical oath, rather a sense of hypocrisy. Russian doctors sent Aleksej Navalnyjs to German doctors in Berlin instead of Moscow.

I miss my own Jack Russell sweetie. These last days I have been thinking of the photography below of her. One of the best. It is still summer and this was a beautiful winter day. I cannot even imagine that it is going to be winter. That is very far away. And it will not because autumn will arrive first.

You readers who follow me know that I like animals a lot and that I am a life long supporter of the WWF. The beauty of nature with its fauna and flora is fabulous. I browsed the internet for a song summarizing this moment with music and animals. Good music for spinning. I will soon have some vacation and that will be a sporty and very active holiday. Walks with sweetie and cutie among other things.

Sweetie having a rest.

Pandemic history

Followers who read what I write know that I like history. This is world history. I remember SARS and the Swine flu, but this is different. Medicine meets economics, and not the least, politics. It is easy to notice that various countries have acted differently due to present political governments. I went for a walk in Stockholm in the middle of this week. The streets were more or less crowded and I felt happy. I did not have to wear my medical face mask. Distancing is in practice. Finally. In July people bumped into me and I did not like. That is why I sometimes have the face mask.

The Swedish Military supply of basic needs such as face masks and plastic gloves is absolutely unspeakable. The Military in Sweden has been disarmed over decades. I have never made military service, but I am grown up with an awareness that you should be careful. Family members have joined the UN 🇺🇳 and I have heard a lot of stories. And not to be forgotten “hemvärnet”. But also, when I worked in Norway I learnt a lot. It was different there, and I understand that since they fought during WWII. Only decades away. It is the other way around in Norway. A lot of people have done the military service whereas it is the opposite in Sweden. That is also reflected in the Norwegian job market and society in general.

Yes, history is written in this very moment. Interesting to see history books in the future. Will historical literature be modified? But anyway, who is to judge what is true history?

Tropical weather 🍍

According to SMHI it is going to be a lot of sunshine tomorrow. A tropical day. These days are rare, so I am enjoying. I thought about my dearest sweetie and cutie today and all walks we have made. Regardless weather. Molly is very active and she likes running more than walking. Sharing this photo from midsummer in the garden. Molly insisted on a selfie. Corona summer.

Meticulous or laidback lockdown?

There will be a time when we will be able to look in the rear-view mirror and reflect on COVID-19. However, life is here and now, and we are still fighting every day. I do not know why, but I recall the Swine flu so much. Maybe that is why I am so careful. Schools are soon starting again, and the usual autumn viruses will, in addition to the Corona virus, cause various symptoms of a cold. So, keep distance and wash your hands!

I do not what to say about the news. My concern is about how they are presented. People have died in COVID-19, but they should have died anyway. It doesn’t feel right to put it that way. In Brazil, they put crosses on a beach to symbolise all lives gone due to the disease. The Swedish epidemiologist Anders Tegnell has done a great job to stay in the media every day. We need somebody who can just be there. It is like he is a military commander in a battle that took place in the 17th century. And he does it well! Moreover, it is interesting to note that it appears to be other harmful viruses than the Corona virus leading to hospital stays. True or false news?

There are a lot of discussions about lock-downs. The EU 🇪🇺 has put together an enormous “save the economy” deal. Due to a more laidback lockdown, Sweden’s Minister of Finance has reduced the economical crisis.

Most important is that you take care of yourself. Then you can help others. I have returned to some training. Spinning instead of running. And I am looking forward to this weekend filled with exercise. I was going to participate in “Tjejmilen” this year but it is cancelled. Sharing a picture form last year.

Weekend training

Summer is perfect now. Sunny and warm. Is it true that it is going to be like this for two weeks? I had to push myself a little to go for exercise today. When I started, I remembered that it is nice to go for exercise when it is a good temperature. You don’t have to do so much warming up before work out. I am now focusing on spinning. People are careful with regard to the Corona virus, and that makes me feel safe. It is very much about to stay home if you don’t feel well.

Life is undoubtedly more on the internet, and I have some training that I can do on line. Very good. Since it is Saturday I made my own candy. Mini bars. With chocolate this time. Shouldn’t, but life is better with chocolate. Or what is your opinion?
