Yesterday was woman´s day. Usually on woman´s day I do something like cleaning, cooking or baking. Not yesterday because I didn´t have time. The greatest problem today, according to me, is tensions between women. And there will always be because that is so deeply rooted in the genes. I always find answers in biology. But, of course, you cannot always blame biology. Like blaming everything on religion.
However, I am so happy that I could see my best friend from my childhood last weekend. That made me think of now and future. Not so much about history. I am soon going to write about Saigon and also some about alcohol addiction. I got a book from my previous mentor Professor Jörgen Engel so I have some nice pictures I will show. Addiction, with special emphasis on alcohol, will always be an interesting topic.
I am also thinking of how to formulate some interpretation of the Vietnam war since I went to the Vietnam remnants museum in HCMC. There are always two sides of a coin, and in this case, Vietnam versus America or vice versa. War is horrible. What I think is worst is how they, on purpose, try to give toxic agents to pregnant women so their children will be affected, which in turn, will affect future generations. That is not human.
So, it was very good to see my friend. To focus on future generations. How can you explain the Vietnam war to a 10 year old?
