Wash your hands!

The corona virus that emerged in China is reaching several countries, and people have already died. Mostly elderly. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

Not Tuesday, but anyway

I have had a day off, and that always mean exercise. And now I am done. To make the heart beat for a while, and then some strength. Today I realised that I cannot lift so many kilos. I am talking about dumbbells. I would need more time to get stronger, but however, I am happy that I can do some push ups.

You might have noticed that I have a weakness for sweets, and today I couldn’t keep from having a semla. For balance. I don’t have semla every year, but this year I felt like having one. Usually on Tuesdays, but I couldn’t resist even though it is Friday.

Bellman – in the middle of the week

It is rather messy in Sweden right now since there are explosions at night time in various buildings. Fortunately, nobody has been injured. I have searched for a Bellman song. Rather early in my life I was introduced to Bellman. I got a book with some of his songs as a present from my parents. This song has a happy tone, but the lyrics is a little scary. However, death is unavoidable, and a long and healthy life is the best gift you could ever have.

For inspiration to education

Christmas is over, and I am looking forward to spring. This was the first holiday without my mother. It has been so good that Molly is with us. I really don’t know why but I have remembered an inspiring person I met several years ago. Cecilia Wijnbladh. We met on an educating voyage to Brussels when we visited the European parliament. It is not very often I meet people who are so sharp. She said so many clever things. Unfortunately, she has passed away. I know she liked literature and Bellman, and that she educated at a rather high level within the military. I remember she told me she has written books, and after new year, I started to browse the internet. I found this book above on ethics. It looks like a thesis. This will be an interesting book because ethics is such a troublesome subject since there seldom is a distinct yes or no to a question. I hope that I will learn something new. In addition, I feel that my inspiration to write a new book is returning. To conclude this Saturday evening, it is very good for me to read. I need to put my book in some kind of perspective before I start to write again. I miss my main character Greten.
