Every day life

To be honest, what I wrote last time has affected me a lot. I was very touched by remembering. That made me start to listen to some music from decades ago. I am happy to have nice memories and I am also glad to always have them with me.

It is for sure that summer has now turned to autumn. Still warm, but rain is appearing almost every day. Trees are green but soon they will change colors. I always try to find something nice everyday. To appreciate life and to think positive even though life can be challenging. This morning I seized a glimpse of my every day life, photo above. A peace of fun embraced by a rainy Stockholm.

You know that I write my book and that makes me very happy. I have spent a lot of time writing instead of traveling. I miss traveling. Meeting new people.  But soon ;-).

Funday!

I am at my parents house in the country side. Good to relax after some work and also to meet my sweeties. This website is in a way to remember. To remember my life. I saw some photos this morning and found this very nice birthday card. When I went to high school in Sala we had some student exchange. I made good friends with Michelle from Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. She stayed a year in Sweden and she  lived with the pharmacist family in Sala. My auntie had, at that time, found her husband in Florida so I knew some about the USA. Michelle and I wrote some letters after she left Sweden, but I wonder how she is today. I feel a bit sorry for losing so many friends.

It is still green outside in the garden. However, I feel autumn approaching. I will go for a “joggingtur” today. Lovely to breath fresh air. There are lots of berries in the forest. No apples this autumn which is rare. So, wishing you a relaxing Sunday.

Breakfast

…is one of the most important meals of the day. However, I must admit that I don´t always treat myself with fresh omelett with olives and onions, fermented herring and a cup of coffee. I should. I know.

I actually don´t know why it has been so complicated for me to switch between languages when I write. To find Swedish that I am comfortable with has taken time. To support myself I have to think that this is my very first book so next book will be much easier to write. I just love my characters so I think I have to continue to write about them. They are so sweet. Maybe they will follow me the rest of my life.

I just wanted to say hi to you and wish you a happy Sathurday. Soon off for work, but I will have some time to write a little and enjoy the newspaper.

Hi everybody!

Long time ago since I wrote in English. It is a little strange, but I have been more or less forced to write in Swedish to be able to write in good Swedish. Bizzare, how my brain works. Now I am almost ready with the editing of my book. However, I have to read it several times before I submit. I really long for sending, but the details make a good book. But also, spending time with auntie makes me think in English.

A lot of things happen all over the world. I read about refugees. Imagine, what will the situation be in hundred years?

I am very happy about “Tjejmilen”. Many women tributing to a good world. Now I am looking forward to “Hässelbyloppet”. I have run it before, five years ago, and remember it was very cold but a beautiful day.

Tonight I treated myself by eating “out”. I went to Grodan and had a very good salad. Yammi. Since I live alone I have to treat myself. It is good for me that autumn/winter soon is here. I have had too much ice cream but I enjoy it a lot. Makes life spicy and tasty.

Health, body and soul investment

Den här helgen har verkligen varit i träningens tecken. Härligt tycker jag. En hel helg bara för träning. Jag tränar ibland body combat. Nu var det länge sedan, men på något sätt så känns det bra med den sortens träning. Det är lite ledsamt tycker jag att man inte kan känna sig helt trygg när man promenerar ensam. Bra med lite självförsvarsträning.

Igår var det en härlig dag. Förmiddagen började bra. Som en fin sommardag. Blå himmel, lagom varmt och sedan känslan om folkfest. Jag mötte upp mina kollegor och vi genomförde tjejmilen. Plötsligt, vid starten, så började det regna väldigt mycket. Ganska kraftigt till och med. Det blev kallt och jag kände att jag bara ville komma igång med löpningen för att återfå värmen. Det var väldigt mycket folk. Alla var laddade. Det som är bra med tjejmilen är att man kan välja sin egen takt och det som är av störst vikt är att ta sig runt banan.

Regnet gav med sig. Musik flödade längs banan som var sporrande. Det behövdes. Jag började känna av lite lätt mjölksyra vid 8 km så det var bra med lite socker i form av dextrosol. Jag visste att det väntade en lättare uppförsbacke på slutet så den energin behövdes.

På kvällen hade vi eftersnack. Väldigt trevligt. Från mitt nuvarande arbete och dessutom fick jag återse en vän, tillika tidigare kollega, som jag inte träffat på några år. Tiden passerar som sagt. Vi räknade ut att vi lärde känna varandra för 21 år sedan, så det är ett tag sedan.

Det åskade ganska mycket igår kväll. Regnet fortsätter idag. Jaghar varit iväg på träning och även fast det var lite träningsvärk från igår så tänker jag alltid att man inte behöver prestera till 100% utan jag brukar känna av dagsformen och anpassa mig till den för att undvika skador.

Nu var det ett tag sedan jag skrev på min bok. Jag har helt enkelt inte haft tid. Men det är nog ganska hälsosamt att låta den vila och mogna. Degen måste ju jäsa innan den gräddas. Så är det ju bara.
